These terms of use govern the use of the Claron website. By using the site, you accept them.
Claron lets you read Latin texts together with their analysis and review, through spaced repetition, the vocabulary you meet while reading them.
Reading the texts is free and requires no account.
An account, created with a code sent by email or by signing in with Google or Discord, keeps your bookmark, your vocabulary cards and your settings.
You choose a username, which must not impersonate anyone or harm others. You are responsible for access to the email address or the Google or Discord account you use to sign in.
Data linked to your account is processed as described on the page Privacy policy.
If you are under 15, you must obtain a parent’s consent before creating an account.

The Latin texts offered are in the public domain.
Analyses, lemmas and glosses are produced automatically and partly reviewed. They may contain errors and are provided without any guarantee of accuracy.
The dictionaries, software, fonts and icons used by Claron remain the property of their authors and are used under their licences, listed on the page Credits.
Messages sent from the Feedback page may be used to correct and improve the site.
The site is provided as is. We try to keep it accessible but cannot guarantee it: it may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance, and its features may change.
In case of abuse or breach of these terms, access to an account may be suspended or removed.
You may request the deletion of your account at any time by writing to [email protected]. Your cards and review history are then erased.
These terms may be changed. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page; the version online is the one that applies.
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to the protective rules you enjoy as a consumer.
